For more information, visit cimmyt.org Specific duties: Manage timely and accurate processing of Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable, including document review, expense allocation, central filing, and record all fixed asset transactions. Coordination of Depreciation and Amortization. Coordinate and conduct periodic physical inventories of fixed assets. Prepare monthly reports on the status and movements of fixed assets. Conduct annual fixed assets inventory at HQ, Experimental Stations, and Regional Offices. Maintain and manage ERP's Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable modules. Ensure accurate coding of expenditures and improve workflows and procedures. Coordinate monthly accounting closing for fixed assets, including accruals, reconciliations, KPIs, and financial analysis. Validate and track audit information. Ensure compliance with local and foreign regulations. Implement and improve internal controls, policies, and performance measurements. Supervise and develop staff, providing guidance, issue resolution, priority communication, time management skills enhancement, and training. Lead fixed assets-related projects. Minimum Requirements: The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related area. The candidate must have 4 to 5 years of working experience in Fixed Assets. Knowledge in IFRS focused on fixed assets and use of ERP Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office. The selected candidate must count with experience coordinating fixed assets and payable accounts desired. The candidate must have an intermediate level of English, (English test will be tested; candidate must score a minimum of B2 as per CEFR). The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Critical thinking, Teamwork, Client Orientation, Problem-Solving decision-making, Negotiation, and Conflict resolution.
