Overview of Role: Objective To coordinate and plan preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Ensure company equipment and assets operate efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
CMMS Management: Administer and maintain the CMMS database, including equipment records, maintenance tasks, repair history, and spare parts.
Generate work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
2.
Planning and Scheduling: Plan maintenance activities in collaboration with technicians and operations teams.
Allocate resources (personnel, tools, and materials) required to complete tasks efficiently.
3.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track the execution of work orders and update their status in the CMMS.
Create periodic reports on key metrics such as downtime, preventive maintenance compliance, and associated costs.
4.
Inventory Management: Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure spare parts availability for scheduled repairs.
Optimize inventory levels of spare parts and consumables.
5.
Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize and address critical issues.
Support audits and reviews related to maintenance processes.
6.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements for maintenance operations based on data analysis and trends.
Implement best practices for CMMS usage and maintenance planning.
Experiencia y requisitos Job Requirements: Education: Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably with CMMS tools such as SAP, Maximo, or Infor.
Familiarity with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in CMMS tools.
Knowledge of inventory management principles.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Results-oriented with strong time management skills.
Fluent English Success Indicators: Adherence to maintenance schedules.
Reduction in unplanned downtime.
Accuracy in resource and material planning.
Timely and precise reporting.
