Recognized as a top area employer, you can build your dream career at Therma-Tru in our engaged, performance-driven culture.**Job Description**:The Maintenance Engineer, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, will initiate and drive the basic maintenance processes. This individual will provide the Maintenance Supervisors with preventative maintenance plans to restore assets to basic conditions, thus ensuring the reliability and availability of all production and utilities equipment, while keeping health and safety as a priority.The Maintenance Engineer has Strong Knowledge in Pneumatic, Electrical drawing and schematics, HVAC equipment, Mechanical equipment, electronics and PLC equipment. Familiar with forklift maintenance and repairs and support the Project Engineer on the technical side of project management and will lead continuous improvement projects using KPIs and TPM tools to improve equipment availability.- Collects safety related maintenance tasks and translates into maintenance plans for execution.- Executes Safety diagnostics based in safety reports and inspections.- Manages and organizes asset master data.- Sets up the asset breakdown structure down to required maintainable item level, defines all PM tasks and inventory items according to the master data standards. Implements management system.- Monitors asset performance (OPI or line availability). Responsible for plant availability (uptime).- Introduces basic maintenance plans on all equipment on OEM or Global Maintenance Standards.- Sets up basic spare part segmentation and defines critical spares.- Collects and manages asset drawings, documents, permits (licenses), warranties.- Conducts Tagging if required or appropriate.- Feeds planning team leader and maintenance planner with preventive maintenance plans and plans to restore assets to basic condition.- Mentors and trains zone technicians in restoring the basic conditions to the assets in their zones and in executing breakdown analysis
