Manage and supervise preventive and corrective Maintenance activities in the facilities.We now have an opportunity for a Maintenance engineer to join our team in our Monterrey, Mexico facility. Performs Maintenance and adjustments on machinery and general facilities on site. Works closely with the Maintenance team to carry out projects using relevant project management methodologies.In this dual reporting role, the Maintenance superintendent reports to the plant manager in all matters that impact safety, environmental, quality, and administrative issues and to the regional Maintenance and reliability manager for technical operational performance and asset management issues.Guarantee that the entire documentation process is maintained and updated. Ensure Maintenance of production efficiency. Demonstrated experience in Maintenance processes.Under the supervision of the Maintenance shift leader, is responsible for executing, following up, and complying with the plant maintenance plan. Work with the Maintenance planner to determine priorities and an optimum time to perform the corrective and preventive Maintenance.Will also be responsible for achieving safety excellence through promotion of a proactive safety culture, supervision and assignment of Maintenance personnel, scheduling preventive Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime, troubleshooting machine breakdown events, allocating resources, and communication.Coordinates and supervises Maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment. Ensures preventive Maintenance programs and procedures are followed. May administer training programs to ensure proper operations, preventative Maintenance, and repair programs and procedures.Using lean six sigma and reliability-centered Maintenance concepts to optimize work processes and adapt Maintenance processes.
