Maintenance Technician

**ROBOTIC TECHNICAL**
**Role Summary**
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities of a technical nature to keep the operation of Gestamp's machinery, robots, and equipment in optimal conditions, as well as analyze and solve problems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out the check list at the beginning of the shift
- They must complete their assigned activities during the shift, otherwise availability to complete them.
- Technical and robot support to other areas and/or processes.
- Adjust trajectories, parameters, etc. together with the welding area. With reference to welding mig, spot among others.
- Meet department goals (DT, MTTR, MTBF)
- Participate in the resolution of breakdowns that occur in the existing production lines at Gestamp, mainly in the robotics area, and availability to attend to other areas outside of robotics. (Corrective maintenance).
- Perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance.
- It will contribute its experience and knowledge in repetitive breakdowns and/or improvements in the lines.
- Will participate together with production in the start-up of the new manufacturing series.
- Make daily logs of the most relevant aspects during the shift.
- Work with the development of the continuous improvement program for process optimization.
- Report any anomaly found under the maintenance and interventions carried out.
- Maintains the operation of the plant's robotic equipment.
- Makes the necessary changes required by the process.
- Makes changes requested by maintenance supervisor or robotics engineer.
- Optimize team times to maximize efficiency.
- Perform program backups of each of the robots.
- Corrects conditions that affect production in plant robotic equipment.
- Review of Lincoln welding machines.
- Management and manipulation of HMI.
**Key Qualifications/Requirements**
- Basic knowledge in electricity, pneumatics, mechanics and hydraulics.
- Programming of Fanuc, Abb, Kuka and Lincoln robots.
- Knowledge in basic welding. (mig and spot).
- Knowledge of Lincoln welding machines.
- Knowledge in automated welding (with robots).
- Knowledge of consumables for use, in automatic welding torches.
- interpretation of drawings and electrical diagrams DIN Standard, Profibus.
**Knowledge and Education**
- Robotics, mechatronics, or related technician.
**Work Experience**
- 3 years in a similar position
- 3 years in the automotive industry (desirable)
