Manual TesterDuties and Responsibilities:Teamwork: Support the QC team members in achieving product release delivery goals.Execution/Results: Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining manual test suites, test cases, and test scripts. Execute manual tests to validate software functionality and identify and report defects. Work closely with senior test engineers and software developers to investigate, debug, and resolve software defects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.Continuous improvement: Contribute to continuously improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance software quality and efficiency. Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to software testing.Communication: Communicate effectively with software developers, product owners, QC team members, and other stakeholders to understand user stories, resolve issues, and provide status updates on testing activities. Articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Participate in team meetings and discussions, providing insight and contributing to decision-making processes.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSBachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).2 years of experience in software testing is preferred.Experience designing and implementing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts.Basic understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.Proficient in manual testing techniques and methodologies.Basic understanding of agile software development methodologies and practices.Proficient in creating SQL queries for test validation.Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Good communication and collaboration abilities, with a team-oriented mindset.Desired Skills:Knowledge of the following: Oracle or rational DBs, SQL, UNIX/LINUX user commands/editors/shell scripts, web services; testing java based applications.Some experience with Postman.Experience with Jira or similar Agile product management tools.Experience with TestRail or other test case management systems.Some software development experience.Strong willingness to learn and grow in the field of software testing.Production Support/On-Call Duties:As a key member of our engineering team, you will address escalated production issues from customer support. Your responsibilities will include:Participating in a rotational on-call schedule to handle significant production issues.Rapidly diagnosing and resolving technical challenges that arise in production.Collaborating with customer support and engineering teams for seamless issue resolution.Maintaining clear communication and documentation during and after incidents.Leveraging these experiences to contribute to continuous process improvement.This position is Hybrid, so you will have to go to the Guadalajara Office 1 or 2 times a week.#J-18808-Ljbffr
