.Manufacturing EngineerAbout the RoleLocation: Mexico, Guanajuato, GuanajuatoCompany: Siemens Energy, S. deOrganization: Grid TechnologiesBusiness Unit: Grid SolutionsFull / Part time: Full-timeExperience Level: Early ProfessionalJob Purpose: To innovate and optimize production processes to improve safety, reduce costs, and ensure quality, while meeting production standards and company objectives.Main Responsibilities:Research, develop and continuously optimize manufacturing processes to maximize safety, efficiency and quality.Evaluate and implement advanced technologies or automation tools to improve productivity and product quality, seeking to digitalize processes.Analyze, implement and standardize the development of new processes, design, tools and manufacturing times.Define, control and execute in time and form the expenses and investments of improvement requirements in infrastructure, machinery, tooling, that impact safety, quality, productivity and innovation.Define, execute and report monthly in the local platform (PUMA_VAM) the savings of productivity projects attached to the annual target. In addition to monitor and report the progress of all projects under his responsibility.Supervise the installation, operation and maintenance of the area, ensuring reliable equipment for the operation.Define and update the matrix of process limitations according to the technology and equipment of the area, ensuring the feasibility of manufacturing the product.Identify and solve safety, production and quality problems in a sustainable manner using methodologies such as the 7 quality tools, AMEF, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.Create and maintain appropriate documentation for manufacturing processes, including process FEAs, lessons learned, work instructions, procedures, flow charts and process reports.Work closely with Planning, Process and Supplier Quality, Design, Purchasing, Logistics, Controlling, to ensure process integration and efficiency, as well as the integration of outsourcing projects.Design and deliver training and certification programs for production personnel in new technologies or processes.Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with relevant safety and quality regulations and standards.Required Skills and Knowledge:University degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.3 to 5 years previous experience in manufacturing or production engineering roles, preferably in the power transformer industry.Knowledge in Quality Tools, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAD/CAM, and project management software.Ability to analyze safety, production and quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
