The Engineer provides the necessary support and training to manufacturing for the elaboration of the product in an efficient way. Is responsible for supporting the introduction of new products for its manufacture, such as operating instructions, visual aids, tools, and equipment, being a reference for the manufacturing areas in terms of knowledge of customer specifications and product development.- Accountable for achieving project / department identified goals / KPI including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and people related metrics.- Reports to Engineering Manager**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**- Participate in the strategic business unit to support internal customer metrics- Coordinate and implement Engineering changes and deviations- New component validation for manufacturability- Attend design reviews and design for manufacturing / assembly sessions- Monitoring of BOM generation and routings for new products. Proactively lead the update of production routings- Design and quotation of tools, machines, processes, production cells and production areas (new or modifications)- On time elaboration and delivery of manufacturing assessments for the NPD gates.- Champion the creation of process flows, plant layouts, engineering technical documents.- Participate of PFMEAS of manufacturing systems- Provide expertise to put forward-thinking strategy, troubleshooting, containment actions and permanent internal and external corrective actions into practice- Monitoring of new part number builds to ensure the necessary resources
