**Job Title**:Manufacturing Engineer****Reports to**: Manufacturing Engineering Manager**Position Overview**:The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high quality, and cost-effectiveness. This team member will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.**Responsibilities**:1. **Process Development and Optimization**:- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to achieve production goals, improve quality, and reduce costs.- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and practices to enhance efficiency & productivity.- Design and layout manufacturing workstations, equipment, and processes to ensure optimal workflow.2. **Equipment and Tooling Management**:- Specify and procure manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures.- Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment.- Work with suppliers to ensure equipment and tooling meet specifications and standards.3. **Production Support**:- Provide technical support to the production team to resolve manufacturing issues.- Conduct root cause analysis of production problems and implement corrective actions.4. **Continuous Improvement**:- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.5. **Project Management**:- Manage manufacturing projects from concept through implementation.- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.6. **Health and Safety**:- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing environment.- Implement safety improvements to reduce risks and prevent accidents.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience (5+ years) in manufacturing, preferably a tier 1 Automotive Supplier.- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as assembly, molding, and automation.- Proficiency in CAD software (e.G., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.- **Proficiency in Spanish and English languages (written and verbal)**Work Location: In person
