Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Manufacturing EngineerRole DefinitionTo assist and assume technical services management by performing technical analysis of manufacturing processes, systems, N/C programming, CNC machines, etc. to permit effective decisions, which will lead to effective implemented solutions; main products to reviewwould be casting and hydraulic valves.What you will do:Troubleshoots day-to-day process problems, initiates solutions, and follows-up to evaluate effectiveness of changes.Analyzes engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates, and implements all changes.Determines acceptability of new equipment based on usage requirements and recommends modification or revision as necessary.Provides analysis and recommendations needed to allow manufacturing to produce the engineering product designs.Provides effective communication and services in solving production problems or pursuing operations improvements.Simulates present and future machine lines and cells to predict line flow problems and makes recommendations for implementation.Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.Degree RequirementDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar.Skill DescriptorsDecision Making and Critical Thinking:Strong analytical skills and new process development skills, from concept creation through production, root cause analysis.Lean Manufacturing:Knowledge of green belt tools.Quality focused, and urgency committed per business requirements.Core tools.Manufacturing Processes:GD&T and tolerances stack up knowledge with drawing interpretation experience.Cast Iron machining, tooling and work holding experience.CNC programming.Knowledge of SAP desired.Mazak, Heller, or Makino operation experience.Manufacturing Safety:Work in engineering methods to prevent safety issues.Additional Information:Primary Location: Facility 5, Cienega de Flores, NL.Once a month would be asked for Saturday coverage (6:30am – 2:30pm).English: Intermediate-Advanced.Top Candidates will have:Technical English.Knowledge of Excel.Knowledge of machining process, CNC programming.Desired Knowledge NX desired
