The main objective of this position is to evaluate the current manufacturing process and identify areas for improvement. The individual will develop a new manufacturing process that will improve the production's efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The duties will involve the following tasks:- Analyze the existing manufacturing process and identify the bottlenecks, waste, and defects.- Design a new manufacturing process that will eliminate or reduce the identified problems and optimize the use of resources and equipment.- Test and validate the new manufacturing process using simulation and pilot runs.- Implement the new manufacturing process and monitor its performance and outcomes.- Prepare and submit labor, product and process reports to document the results and benefits of the project.- Maintain and upgrade the equipment as needed to ensure its operational reliability and safety.- Develop and implement cost savings measures and strategies to further enhance the profitability and competitiveness of the production.The engineer will work closely with the stakeholders, customers and suppliers to ensure that the new manufacturing process meets their expectations and requirements.
