**OVERVIEW**:
Working as Full-Time Manufacturing Engineer in the Lean Solutions Project Manager department, you will develop documentation and procedures in support of production processes and requirements.
- Continually improve quality and productivity for products and processes within cell/area. Specify, justify, and install capital projects in support of production requirements. Provide technical support for safety and ergonomics within the area. Performance of the above is on an assistance basis, dealing with routine problems and under close supervision. You will work with respective branch and other stakeholders to develop profitable revenue growth opportunities, including customer-facing project management support, onsite visits and other company growth drivers.
**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**:
**The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to**: Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement. Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements. Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow. Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products. Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems. Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations. Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports. Resource management and allocation: Understanding what resources are needed for the given scope and ensuring the right resources are being allocated for each project. Coordination with Strategic Accounts, District Manager, other Lean Solutions members, support teams involved, customer Champion and customer resources assigned to the project
**MANAGING CORPORATE TRACKING OF PROJECT STATUS THAT MAY INCLUDE**:
Perform predictive ROA's Analyze raw data and translate information into a detailed plan Create, understand, analyze and propose productive process Create, follow up and complete project tracking documents (Gantt Charts, PFEP, Flow Charts, SOP, Lockdown, Completion, Audits, Weekly updates, etc.) Tracking initial sales ramp up performance to targets Perform Retention audit and present next business opportunity
**REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills both English and Spanish
- Ability to present your ideas in a formal presentation or in a written proposal
- Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements
- Valid Visa and Passport
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
**PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Prior experience in Sales or Management
- Degree in manufacturing, industrial required.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred.
- Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery
- Successful GM, SA Sales or Specialty Sales experience
- Prior Lean Six Sigma experience
- Prior Project Management experience
- Prior experience managing VMI's
