Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor.**What you'll do**:**Job summary**Leads Manufacturing team maintaining and developing manufacturing processes in compliance with safety, quality, lean manufacturing and customer specific requirements standards.**Essential Functions**A. Develops and ensures compliance with safety, quality, lean manufacturing and customer specific requirements standards.B. Monitors and develops processes documentation plan (PFMEA, PFD, WI,).D. Validates and approves cost out projects feasibility.E. Ensures MCO process compliance.F. CAPEX needs identification.G. Ensures documentation and compliance of lessons learned.H. Management and development of manufacturing Engineers.I. IATF 16944, OSHA, ISO Compliance.J. Responsible for actively participating in all Continuous Improvement activities in the area of responsibility effectively utilizing EBS processes and tools such as ELSS, CIF, PRO-Launch and others asapplicableK Lead of I 4..0 plant initiativeL. Monitors OEE & FTA performance to ensure key action are followed**Qualifications**:**Education level required**- Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering degree**Years of experience required**- Minimum 5 years' experience as Manufacturing Engineer & Experience on automotive manufacturing company required**Technical knowledge**- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and make presentations- Knowledge of Computers, assembly practices, tools and fixturings.- Automotive Requirements knowledge and core tools- Tooling managment knowlege**English level**- Bilingual (English/Spanish**Systems**- AutoCAD and Solid Works knowledge**Functional competencies**- Problem Solving (A3, DMAIC, 3 x 5 why, 8D, 5 Phase, etc.)- Lean Tools (VSM, 3P, 5s+ &SW, & SUR)- Experience of assembly practices, tools and fixtures- Manufacturing Systems Development- Automotive Requirements knowledge and core tools- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and make presentations- Manufacturing Finance- Makes Decisions/Solves Problems- Drive for ResultsWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
