In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Supervise the performance, quality, and safety of the areas under your charge and manufactured products, supervising and facilitating compliance with production programs and objectives in a timely manner, attending to and resolving the needs of the area and providing technical guidance and advice to Leaders and Supervisors. Maintain a safe work environment in your department, through the prevention and attention of work-related accidents and illnesses, ensuring that the correct personal safety equipment is always used during the workday and ensuring that your staff is properly trained. You will maintain performance standards for the operations you are responsible for, supervising the results and keeping the General Management advised of the status, challenges, achievements, and opportunities for improvement. You will constantly seek areas of opportunity and continuous improvement in the processes and areas of your department, to ensure adherence to the best manufacturing practices, as well as improve the profitability of the company and customer satisfaction. You will provide support and guidance to department personnel as required to maintain high standards of work and efficiency in activities. Ensures adherence to company and corporate systems, policies, procedures, and standards. You will participate in the company's Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing projects, providing support with personnel and resources for plant projects, as well as coordinating, advising, and following up on projects under your leadership. You will be responsible for the administration and follow-up of subordinate personnel, in relation to performance evaluations, promotions, salary increases and development. You can communicate efficiently in both Spanish and English, ensuring clear understanding across different audiences. Your strengths lie in taking initiative, leading projects efficiently, and bringing to bear your knowledge of materials planning processes to make good decisions. You are committed to achieving goals and going above and beyond. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering o related field. +5 years' proven experience in managerial positions in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of quality control procedures and standard processes Familiarity with production planning and scheduling techniques Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (a plus) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.  Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience in manual assembly processes, manufacturing (CNC machines, lathes, metal passivation), 100% focus on Safety as priority #1, knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferably), data driven, budget management, basic knowledge of variable costs, teamwork, and previous exposure to product transfer processes between the USA and Mexicali.
