.**PROCESS/MANUFACTURING ENGINEER**- Under limited supervision, responsible for assisting the investigation of component, manufacturing, and field return issues through prompt, aggressive root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.- Process/Manufacturing Engineer operates with a high level of efficiency, integrity and enthusiasm, striving to achieve excellence in all endeavors. Be a creative and proactive contributor on the management team, focused on continuous improvement.- This role must be viewed as operationally focused working closely with the Test and Quality Engineering leads in tandem with the Manufacturing Shift Lead to drive process test optimization, improvement and execution of production plan.**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**- Responsible of APQP Documentation and proper Execution, included but not limited to PFMEA, Control Plan, Reaction Plan, Flow Diagram, etc.- Report technical information concerning component and manufacturing failures to Design and QC.- Assist in implementing proactive measures that will foster productivity and higher product yields while reducing economic loss.- Assist production and responding to line problems immediately and addressing boards/assemblies on component hold.- Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following; Schematics, BOM's, EC documents, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.- Assist Test Engineering department in an ongoing data evaluation program for improving the efficiency of the diagnosis of assemblies.- The individual will be responsible for mass productions support of all new programs being transfer to Mexico Plant and must follow WCM standard.- Process/Manufacturing Engineer shall lead and manage the Manufacturing Process and collaborate with Test & Maintenance Engineers coordinating day to day activities in support of the manufacturing process to achieve the manufacturing plan.- Undertake technology benchmarking and drive" best in class" engineering solutions.- Analyze and prioritize areas for Engineering improvement e.G. machine uptime, efficiency, reduction of down time, improvements in test routines, right hand/left hand assembly analysis, tools design and tool improvement.- Create vehicle to support multi-disciplined teams at all organizational levels to drive proactive involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.- Work with engineering and support departments establish service level agreements, including internal and external suppliers.- Share responsibility on Production Throughput, Quality and Delivery with Manufacturing/Production/Maintenance & MP&L- Establish and lead in key meetings in particular: Engineering Changes, KPI's & Quality Indicators.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Ability to effectively present technical information and respond to questions from groups of managers, engineers, vendors and technicians
