**What is the job about?**
- This role is responsible of monitoring, stabilizing & improving the process development of the product manufacturing, process and actively support in all phases of new products introduction, and Projects defined by Management, as well as in the startup phases. Responsible for execution and monitoring of VPC's. This position reports directly to the APU Manager and will operate on-site from our facility in San Luis Potosi._
**Your main responsibilities**:
- Analyze, adjust, and select the most suitable manufacturing methods.
- Support the processes for equipment selection and purchase.
- Participate in the VPC execution for releasing and implementing new equipment, new products, and processes changes in the production line.
- Selection of tooling together with Manufacturing engineer.
- Implement PPS and A3 projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance process performance indicators such as FTT, Scrap, and OPR in the pursuit of Continuous Improvement.
- Ensure all equipment and processes are according to parameters established.
- Define standardized manufacturing process.
- Maintenance to Work Instructions, Change of Model and other specific.
- Plan training for Operators or Engineers based on the process (Flexibility Index).
**Your background**:
We imagine that you have:
- Mechanic Engineer, Electrician, Electronic, Mechatronic or Related degree.
- 3 years of experience as an Engineer on the Industry.
- Projects or verifiable implementations in the last year.
- Knowledge about principles of Lean Manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of machinery according to product (plasma, CNC, and winding of stators, etc.).
- Drawing interpretation.
- Mathematical and numerical skills.
- Interested to work on production floor.
- Sense of urgency and preventive work.
- Systemic focus to solve problems and involve others.
- MS Office Software, Excel, Word, Internet, Lotus Notes, MS Project, (SAP R3 is beneficial).
- Availability to travel (have passport and American visa).
