Maintains communication with suppliers, monitor the delivery of materials. Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on operation.
Major Responsibilities and Authorities
- Demand planning through Oracle IVCP/Establish Planning process.
- Elaborates purchasing orders and follow up according to production requirements.
- Keep work order and purchase orders date updated in the system accordingly.
- Identifies, evaluate, and implement Pull System Strategies
- Verifies in weekly basis the production plan to ensure material availability.
- Makes production program of his/her lines based on customer requirements.
- Expedites and adjust program according to customer requirements.
- Provides delivery feedback to Customer Service reps.
- Monitor, identify and resolve past due backlog issues.
- Follow up development of new products.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality and Trade Compliance procedures.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field
- 3+ year proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Office
- Inventory control
- Oracle (Transactional and Planning Module)
- Pull Systems experience.
