KEM Energía Constructora offers construction services in a variety of markets, including energy, oil, gas, chemicals, terminals, marine works, and mining.We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a Mechanical Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for the commissioning process for mechanical systems on construction projects. You will collaborate with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the successful startup, testing, and operation of mechanical systems.ResponsibilitiesPerform plant mechanical activities during the commissioning phase and be accountable to the Mechanical Lead.Develop required procedures related to SU Mechanical activities.Perform initial equipment and pump check-out.Perform all system line flushes.Conduct mechanical pre-operational check-outs.Perform pump initial run-in vibration analysis.Verify all rotating equipment alignments.Coordinate and verify all check-out and commissioning of systems.Coordinate completing and recording equipment initial run data.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning mechanical systems, preferably in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, compressors, HVAC systems, and piping systems.Experience with commissioning processes, procedures, and documentation.Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Willingness to travel and work in remote locations as required.BenefitsVacation days, Christmas bonus, and vacation bonus above the law standardSavings fundFood vouchersSocial securityHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Life InsurancePaid Time Off (Vacation & Public Holidays)Training & developmentWellness Resources (Medical appointments at a preferential price and discounts in drugstores and stores)
