As a result, the needs of our stakeholders continue to evolve.The PositionThe Medical Ecosystem Partner (MEP) is at the center of Roche's new organization, challenging the role we play in society to move from providing world-class medicines to building partnerships, co-creating, innovating, and leading healthcare.The MEP is an empowered leader who partners closely with all stakeholders that directly touch the patient journey (in a given therapeutic area or disease), gaining a deep understanding of their needs in order to build alliances to co-create meaningful and high-impact solutions. This role is locally integrated into the ecosystem, highly scientific, with skills to identify needs and shape ecosystems to enable access to new innovative solutions. Additionally, it strengthens the management of opinion leaders in the field through high-value scientific interactions. It incorporates a future vision based on the pipeline. It generates, interprets, and communicates scientific information.The MEP collaborates with DAFE (Disease Area Field Enabler), PJPs (Patient Journey Partner), and HSPs (Healthcare Ecosystem Partners) to co-create solutions in different ecosystems that help improve quality and patient care. The MEP also interacts with internal areas such as Pharmacovigilance (FV) and the Regulatory Department to strengthen the internal strategy and promote patient safety.ResponsibilitiesThe MEP is the expert in the therapeutic area with a deep knowledge of the area, pathology, molecules, patient journey, and pipeline.The MEP is a key role within the affiliate, possessing the skills to identify and overcome access barriers to have a greater impact on the patient journey.The MEP focuses on the importance of bringing and sharing insights by working closely with our clients to uncover potential opportunities to transform health outcomes for patients more rapidly. They share Roche's experience, science, and knowledge with different health ecosystems.Participates and promotes networking to streamline, collaborate, and innovate, as well as attract expertise and resources at the local level
