You support our team as

**Mexico Customs Country Manager**:
**Responsibilities**:

- In coordination with N.A.
Director of Customs, advise internal clients within the business groups on all aspects of Mexican Customs and Export law, including Forced Labor, Sanctions, Incoterms®, classification, preferential duty treatments, IMMEX and VAT compliance.
- Cooperate with business group contract management teams to review, analyze, and advise on a wide range of contracts, including supply agreements, sales agreements, vendor service agreements, outsourcing agreements, NDAs, and other commercial agreements.
- In coordination with N.A.
Director of Customs, support due diligence and provide legal advice on acquisitions and divestitures and other corporate transactional matters, including post-acquisition integration and managing joint ventures.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues inside and outside of the customs department, and prepare, organize, and deliver trainings for non-customs trained personnel.
- Assist in and support the Freudenberg business groups in the development and implementation of robust internal customs processes, guidelines, best practices, and know-how.
- In coordination with N.A.
Director of Customs, conduct customs audits at the Freudenberg entities operating in Mexico, including the development and follow up of corrective actions.
- In coordination with N.A.
Director of Customs, support the annual N.A.
Customs Conference.
- Cooperate with business group customs teams to bring resolution of compliance events (government audits and inquiries).
- Audit trade data of the business groups on a regular frequency with the focus on identifying errors, risks of penalties, and duty savings opportunities through the implementation of available customs regimes.
- In coordination with N.A.
Director of Customs, develop customs broker strategies for the group entities in Mexico

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in International Business or Trade Compliance from a Mexican accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience focused on international trade and customs.
- Knowledge of Mexican customs and fiscal laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Certified Customs Specialist or other designations a plus
- **Travel Requirements**:up to 20%
