.This position is accountable for developing, maintaining, and administering the internal customs inventory control system used by Sensata Mexico sites to comply with inventory database management regulations and government reporting as established in Annex 24 and Annex 30 of Mexican Foreign Trade Rules.Job Responsibilities- Maintain complete administration of Sensata's internal customs inventory control system (Annex 24) utilized by the import and export operation.- Responsible for maintaining the data base of the inventory control system (Annex 24) accurate and reconciled against official Mexican Customs report (Data Stage).- Responsible to validate the necessary information to maintain an accurate master catalog of items into the Annex 24 such as value, HTS codes, description, unit of measure, country of origin, etc.- Perform analysis of data and manage a monthly Bill of Materials (BOM) explosion process of materials and components temporarily imported into Mexico though the inventory control system.- Present monthly discharges report and reconciliation results to management and take the appropriate actions to be able to keep the inventory balances accurate and correct.- Manage the discharges process of machinery and equipment imported temporary into Mexico though the customs inventory control system.- Prepare the appropriate discharge and reconciliation reports for consumptions of materials, components and machinery as required by Annex 30, and submit the report through the Government portal (SAT portal) as required by Annex 30 of the Foreign Trade Laws.- Track and report materials and components imported into Mexico on temporary basis that are not getting the correct consumptions in the discharge and reconciliation process through the correct BOM.- Track and report materials that are obsolete or have low movement in order to take the appropriate actions.- Track and report open balance inventory, reconciling physical inventory in a monthly basis as registered in Oracle and avoid exceeding the allowed period to remain in Mexico per the IMMEX Foreign Trade rules.- Track and control scrap though the inventory control system (Annex 24).- Update customs inventory control system with new bill of material information maintained in Oracle system before processing the discharge and reconciliation.- Validate the unit cost, landed cost and computed cost at least every quarter.- Review, audit and perform appropriate corrections to information contained in the master catalog to keep information accurate and correct at all times.- Review and validate MX classification of products and materials to reconcile with Mexican broker information.- Support the trade compliance supervisor and/or other trade compliance management with reports and information from the customs inventory control system.- Gather information and prepare periodic updates and metrics reports for import and export operations
