Come join our team at MAHLE! #StrongerTogether- The NPM Purchasing Packaging Buyer role, is the one responsible for all the packaging related topics, for all the MAHLE Mexico plants; This person will be theone finding, selecting and approving vendors for this commodity, such as Cardboard, Wooden Skids, Wooden crates, Labels, Returnable Containers, etc.- Your Role & Responsibilities:- Search for Packaging vendors for the MAHLE Mexico plants, and develop them to be able to meet the plants requirements.- Tender the Packaging commodities throughout the MAHLE Mexico plants.- Supplier selection, using the SDS format and the Executive summary, if required, to have all approvals and everyone needed involved on this process.- Negotiate and settle the commercial conditions for those Packaging vendors, to guarantee Legal and Operational compliance.- Review periodically those Market commercial impacts affecting this commodity, and guarantee competitiveness for those MAHLE Mexico plants.- Inform periodically about those price impacts to the Organization, to make sure everyone required is fully aware (Finance, Sales, Management, etc.), and offer potential solutions.- Perform on site visits / audits to those Packaging suppliers, to guarantee permanent service, legal and operational compliance.Your Skills & Strengths:- Minimum work experience 3 years on the NPM Purchasing field as buyer.- English is a must, written and spoken.- Experience on the specific field (packaging) is preferred.- Travel required maybe 3 times a year, within Mexico MAHLE plants.- Honesty and proactiveness is highly required.- SAP experience, preferred.**Do you have any questions?**Facts about the job**Entry level**:- Experienced hires**Part- / Full-time**:- Full Time**Functional area**:- Purchasing**Department**:Services**Location**:Monterrey, MX**Company**:MAHLE Shared Services Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V.Your future at MAHLEAs a team player and someone who thinks ahead, you can deploy all your skills with us.
