O Engineer, Process (Plant) - Assoc

Mold design / review & Interaction with different suppliers for injection molds- Blue test activities- 10X cross sections profiles interpretation and activities test.- Fitting & samples for new programs- Troubleshooting for Process and molds- Solidworks design for molds and machinery- Tig & Laser weld work sheet for technicians- Develop work Instruction for EPDM rubber, TPV and Sponge molding process- Automation of equipment and machinery- Poka-yokes Implementation- Develop and validate gaging / fixtures- Assess processes, gather data and interpret that data using statistical tools- Design, run and report the results of process trials- Track KPIs and drive positive change by developing and implementing solutions to improve safety, increase productivity, improve product quality, reduce operating costs, increase stability, and minimize scrap- Provide process documentation, setup documentation and operating instructions for the engineering finishing Department- Train all affected personal on new or changing processes, documentation and equipment- Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Materials and Quality personnel to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions- Participate in continuous improvement activities, such as changeover-time reduction, 5S projects, SMED and waste reduction- Participate in Design Review for manufacturability- Carries out cost reduction proposals through VA/VE analysis.- Analyzes OEM specifications and synthetize internal Material DVP- Develop master documents (FD, CP & PFMEA)- Perform process / product audits- Participate in launching new programs- Coordination, planning and execution of lay out changes- Predictive estimation of material consumes of new projects.- Preparation of Engineering improvements activities report- Other duties as required by management
