Overview:The Operational Risk Management Central Team oversees the governance and execution of the Operational Risk Management Framework for GM Financial's International Operations.
The **Operational Risk Management Intern** will provide day-to-day support of program administration and core program activities for the Operational Risk Assessment and Control Testing Senior Specialist.
**Location: Monterrey, N.L.
****Time availability: 25 hours per week.
****Responsibilities**:- Day-to-day support of Operational Risk Assessments- Aggregation of risk assessment data for consolidation- Review of assessment results and provide comments and observations for management review- Oversight and follow up of assessment plans and calendars using department's project management tool- Day-to-day support of Operational Risk Control Testing activities including data analysis and reporting.Assist in the development and execution of control test plans including scoping, process walkthroughs, evidence review and analysis, and reporting- Oversight and follow up of test plans using department's project management tool- Support the administration of department technology platforms (data updates, upload, corrections, etc.
)- Assist with the design, management, and delivery of Operational Risk management reports- Coordination and follow up of meetings and activities with Country Operational Risk Managers and Staff- Assist or support other Operational Risk Management projects and deliverables as assignedQualifications:- Active bachelor degree student in Business, Technology, Administration, Economics, Law or related (With at least 1 year left prior to graduation).- Availability of 25 hours per week, to performa activities.- Proficient English Skilss (both verbal and written).- Experience in using the Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) package.- Self-motivated, able to work independently or across multiple teams.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Strong analytical and organizational skills.- Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of Leadership.
