**OBJETIVE**:
Develop and implement strategies including negotiation leadership, supplier selection, supplier relations, stakeholder management and contract implementation for the procurement of all packaging materials, such as corrugated cardboard, wooden and plastic pallets and containers, stretch film and others.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provides expert Packaging spend data cleansing and normalization for an improved spend data analysis
- Develops and implements purchasing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements and process efficiencies in line with business requirements
- Negotiates contract terms, prices, warranties, and delivery conditions with suppliers.
- Works with operations to streamline the reorder process and improve and standardize part numbers across tool cribs
- Engage with different functional teams to continuously develop cost reduction initiatives through the packaging design optimization
- End to end project manager for savings initiatives from idea creation to implementation and financial validation
- Leads continuous cost reduction process for category
- Provides service to multiple sites and functional teams in Mexico and USA
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience sourcing and negotiating contracts.
- **Highly analytical profile, able to develop purchasing strategies out of large spend data bases**.
- Lead RFx processes for the Packaging category
- Understanding of purchasing category management, price and terms negotiation, contract writing, cost analysis.
- Negotiating experience at all levels.
- Project management experience to coordinate with multiple functional areas to achieve desire results.
- Experience working on a multisite, multicultural environment.
- Stakeholder relationship management.
- Scout innovative supply base to improve costs, services and quality
- Availability to travel US (5-10%)
