Payroll Accountant, your future position? You will be part of our Taste & Wellbeing business in Mexico. As the Payroll Accountant, you will maintain accurate accounting records of salaries and prepare payrolls to ensure accurate payment of wages following employee contracts, Givaudan policies and local regulations. You will also manage our employees' records.
You will report into the Payroll Coordinator, and you will work on-site at our manufacturing mill located at Cuernavaca, Morelos.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Ensure that all payroll-related tax obligations are met, such as calculating and paying payroll taxes.Perform internal audits to verify the accuracy of payroll records and resolve discrepancies.Prepare periodic reports on payroll costs and other relevant financial indicators.Use SAP FI Accounting for downloading policies and generating journal entries.Use SAP HCM for calculating weekly and monthly payrolls, special processes such as: PTU, vacations, Christmas bonuses, severance pay, liquidations.Collect payroll data to include in our financial statements and prepare reports for all areas involved with the payroll process.Review incidents for pre-payroll.Enter new hires into the payroll system, update changes in payment status and taxes.Prepare and maintain employment records.Verify and audit employees time records to verify compliance with established standards.Maintain employees' time and attendance records.Manage savings fund and food, gasoline, and restaurant vouchers.Calculate ISR, Payroll Tax, and determine employer-employee contributions.Manage Disabilities and determine Risk premium (Prima de Riesgo).Manage IMSS, Infonavit and Fonacot processes and payments.Attend audits and internal control requirements.Attend employees' and Union representatives' inquiries and requests.You If you are someone who wants to shape your own world, who excels being in a culture where you can express yourself in a creative team environment, who wants to collaborate and learn together with teams who are as passionate as you are, then join us – and improve your world.
Your professional profile includes:
Accounting university degree (CPA).At least 5 years' experience as a Payroll Accountant, managing the internal end-to-end payroll process at companies with a headcount of at least 1000.Experience in calculation of ISR, Payroll Tax and determination of employer-employee contributions.Experience using SAP FI and HCM.Experience in accounting principles and applicable tax regulations.Knowledge of relevant labor and tax laws.Advanced level of MS Excel (you should be able to manage complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, charts).Upper-intermediate level of English.At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
