.Under the supervison of the Payroll Coordinator, this position is responsible for preparingthe weekly and semimonthly payroll, including salaries, overtime, loans, savings fund,food coupons and vacation bonuses. Additionally, this position elaborates the terminationpayments.**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**1. Review time records weekly, verifies the validity of the documentation to beentered and enters this information into the payroll system. Processing leaves,absences, vacations, disability, promotions and terminations.2. Register the Social Security transactions.3. Compute retroactive pay and other adjustments to employee pay accurately andtimely4. Prepare documentation requested to associates by institutions such as the SocialSecurity and INFONAVIT.5. Answer incoming calls from employees regarding status of their payment.6. Record hours worked, overtime, leaves, absences, and vacation days. Maintainaccurate and complete payroll files.7. Elaborate termination payments as necessary.8. Act as the initial resource for payroll inquiries and proposed problems's solutionto associates.9. Calculate and review the food coupons process.10.Manage, with the supervision of the Payroll Coordinator, the Savings fundprocess.11.Distribute the pay stubs and the food coupons.12.Elaborate weekly and monthly absenteeism and overtime reports for thesupervisors and managers of the plant.**RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS**Supervisory Relationships:1. Reports to Payroll Coordinator.Organization Relationships:- Regular contact with hourly workers and administrative employees.External Business Relationships:- Moderate contact with Government Institutions.- Moderate contact with banks and payroll related vendors.**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS****EDUCATION**:Preference Technical or Professional Degree.**EXPERIENCE**:Preference 1 year of experience in Payroll or related area.**FORMATION**:Preference must have proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
