Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. It operates in three segments: Electrical, Power, and Industrial Technology.**Duties and Responsibilities**:**Production Planning - Control superintendent**:- Manages production planning and scheduling on the factory floor from a Master schedule.- Tracks all Work Orders issued to the factory floor.- Reviews Work Orders with the manufacturing and inventory teams to develop daily schedules.- Ensures material availability for current and near-term Work Orders to be processed by the factory floor.- Coordinates delivery and pick-up of all materials from supply base and for Outside operations.- Ensures production schedule is established for a current and next week forward look to ensure manpower and materials are available and can achieve the plan.- Manage and track all backordered materials. Drive backordered materials to a minimum level
