Descripción del empleo We are seeking a Plant Manager for our rapidly growing facility in Monterrey MX. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of the site's operational performance in financial, quality, service, safety, employee relations, and supply chain management.
This role requires technical expertise in manufacturing and also change leadership.
You will continue to develop and maintain an effective system of metrics, scorecards, governance and reviews to assure strategies and projects are aligned with business needs in a leading company where we value, recognize and reward individual and team success. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Activities may include, but are not limited to: Leading change. The site is expanding in both sales and physical space. This requires strong leadership to ensure effective execution and collaboration by the team.

Support the processes and practices to build on the ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications and ensure site compliance with legal, legislative and corporate safety requirements.

Facilitate robust voice of customer to continuously evaluate and improve internal business processes.
Build a vision and operating strategy (OGSM - Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures) and ensure the effective execution to achieve or exceed quality, service, cost, safety, inventory and bottom-line results. Leverage a demonstrated ability to collaborate across boundaries to solve hard problems.
Ensure accuracy and completion of capital planning and budgeting. Ensure capital spending is not only maintaining and protecting the core business, but also looking toward the future and strategic for long term growth and success.
Drive lean management and process discipline throughout front-end and manufacturing areas by personally championing Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS). Model and promote the Corporation's Code of Business Ethics and Values.
Key Metrics you will own: Safety - Recordables Zero is Achievable Quality - ppm and customer satisfaction are key for automotive customers Productivity - efficiency, downtime, cost savings Delivery - on time delivery to customers while managing inventory Requisitos WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operation Management or equivalent 8+ years solid business experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing individuals and teams. Strong knowledge and experience with ISO 9000 Systems, preference for Automotive IATF16949 standard.
General business knowledge within the injection molding or extrusion industries.
Experience working in a Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success in operations leadership, improvement process and in having the ability to understand and integrate consumer needs, marketing strategies and broader business challenges. Successful track record in a fast paced environment where flexibility and urgency to meet current customer requirements while also looking to the future and setting strategic direction.
