Key purposeLead the implementation of best-in-class logistics standards throughout the regions in cooperation with Ops Excellence leadership team. Ensure the readiness of infrastructure, processes and training to leverage speed, simplicity, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ensures implementation and maintenance of best-in-class logistic standards and technologies throughout ZF Aftermarket network
Main accountabilities, responsibilities and deliverablesProject Management – Focus on Warehouse, Distribution, Automation, Footprint, Layout design and EHS standardsActs as a thought leader and subject matter expert in warehousing and distribution processes and technologies to assist in developing a vision for improvement efforts to provide a distinct competitive advantage in the market for the organizationCreates in collaboration with OPS leadership and deploys change road maps covering logistics standards in terms of technology, processes and service levelPartners with Manufacturing specialist to create synergies in technologies development (e.g. Cobots)Maps the level of expertise and develops training planning to ensures the appropriate expertise is available in the locationsEnsures strategic alignment with corporate, divisional functions and external stakeholders. Builds and manages partnerships with vendors, service providers and competency centersActively supports/drives CAPEX planning across locations/regions, ensuring roadmap feasibility. Leads business case reviews with financial teams. Prioritization, based off cost benefit and ease of implementationEnsures automation strategy and standards implementation across distribution networkLeads relevant projects connected with footprint, automation and standardization in ZF AftermarketKey point of contact for Operations and Materials Management PMO - Global. Passionate about providing full transparency and time-line for planned and completed projects in North AmericaDelivering Projects on-timeRequired skills and experience / main competenciesIn-depth knowledge in Distribution Center operationsIn depth knowledge of transportation modes and distribution networkIn-depth knowledge and competence of business management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources)In depth knowledge of supply chain network designProven track record in delivering logistics and supply chain optimization projectsAbility to collaborate and coordinate efforts with internal and external stakeholdersProven virtual leadership abilitiesWhat you need to have: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a project management skills as well as consultancy skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to effectively interact with colleagues and clients at all levels in English - must be fully bilingual (Spanish/English)
