Principal Engineer I Quality Assurance

Main Duties:Must be able to analyze defective products to component level for the purpose of determining preliminary root cause in order to drive effective corrective action from the appropriate source through the entire manufacturing process.Review and disposition reports as required determining failure mode, potential root cause(s) and appropriate interim and permanent corrective actions.Qualifications and Skills:PPAP knowledgeNew launch knowledgeBachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electro-mechanics or related fieldStrong Electrical / Electronic knowledgeAbility to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and printsUnderstanding of Six Sigma methodologiesStrong knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness Statistics and process capability AnalysisTime Availability to support night shiftMS Office Proficiency (Excel, Power Point)Dynamic and organizedUrgency senseKnowledge of Problem Solving tools (8D'S)Travel may be requiredPreferred Experience:3-5 YearsPreferred Behaviors:Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupPreferred Motivations:Growth Opportunities: Inspired to perform well by the chance to take on more responsibility#J-18808-Ljbffr
