Parfait is used to identify code defects that can result in bugs and/or security issues in the Database code. You will work with the Database Engineering team along with various Database development groups to develop, implement and support Parfait. Tasks include code analysis (verification of false positives), integration of Parfait into various development workflows and formulating new integration solutions.Join our team of experienced and motivated professionals that enjoy their work and are motivated to develop solutions that contribute to Oracle's success.Career Level - IC4Responsibilities and Activities include, but are not limited to, the following:- Investigate and review of false positive reports- Implement Parfait and related software upgrades- Perform basic Linux system administration tasks as necessary- Development of procedures/tools/scripts to integrate Parfait into the Database development infrastructure- Work with Database development teams to optimize the Parfait implementation for their components- Work with Parfait Development and Database Release Management to review requirements for new code checks and carry out their implementation.- Job Qualifications/Skills- Detailed knowledge and experience with the C language and proficiency in other languages such as Perl, Python, Java.- Experience with C++ is preferred but not required.- Experience with UNIX shell scripting- Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Experience with or exposure to enterprise-scale software development projects- Working Experience with Oracle database technology- Working knowledge/use of Confluence- Familiarity with Jenkins/Hudson continuous integration servers- Familiar with Configuration Management software and principles- Working familiarity with building secure software using modern security principles- Be able to work comfortably in a collaborative environment and be excited to learn.- Able to manage multiple priorities, and work effectively under important deadlines- Organized and detail oriented- Self starter - works under mínimal supervision
