To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, South Campus.
Reporting to the NPI Manager, the Process Engineer role involves process engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality, and delivery improvements to sustain a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day is like
- Participation in daily production and NPI activities.
- Engineering change implementation support (ECO).
- Develop, apply, and own process control methodologies.
- Troubleshoot process related problems.
- Participate in cycle time and process improvement related activities.
- Continually develop manufacturing techniques that improve internal capabilities and performance.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Interface with production on all activities associated with the implementation and transfer of new processes.
- Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new product transfer.
- Guide cost reduction/improvement programs.
- Direct contact with the customer.
Experience we are looking for to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in similar positions (automotive industry).
- Conversational English.
- NPI experience.
- IPC knowledge.
- Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).
- Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification as a plus.
- Mini Tab knowledge as a plus.
- IATF knowledge as a plus
- PPAP process as a plus
