Our team in Mexico is growing; we are currently recruiting a **Process Engineer** to join our project delivery business line in the **Mexico Hermosillo office.**
**About the role**
- Coordinate and provide input in technical reports
- Develop process deliverables including process design criteria, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing, mass and energy balances according to Ausenco Standards.
- Lead process engineering teams within Ausenco to deliver complete process engineering work packages on complex projects.
- Contribute to the delivery of multidiscipline engineering design by liaising with other engineering disciplines during the preparation of engineering designs and studies.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate technical issues with clients
- Gather measurements, record observations, perform calculations and basic analysis, and prepare reports for projects and trade-off studies.
- Comply with relevant business management system (or quality) policies & procedures.
- Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients.
Expected to stay abreast of latest process technology developments
**About you**
You are a proven strategic business partner looking for your next challenge and can offer the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- Experience with studies and projects in a consulting engineering capacity
- 5 - 10 years of solid experience working with mineral processing combined with study delivery (scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility, trade-offs, basic and detail engineering).
- Experience with concentrator and hydrometallurgical plant design (greenfield and brownfield projects) - for a wide range of minerals and metals: copper, gold/silver and polymetallic ores.
- Experience in the field of engineering, design, construction, commissioning and operation.
- Ability to effectively translate field and engineering experience to other process staff and design
- Strong analytical skills.
- Well-developed written and oral skills in both English and Spanish is a must
- Demonstrated initiative and ingenuity in providing engineering solutions.
- Willingness to travel when required to Canada and USA
