**Job Purpose and Overview**
This position provides technical guidance and direction to all departments as it relates to Inventory, Fulfillment, Warehouse and Delivery. This position will lead, develop, and implement the process improvement strategies and initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, using lean methodology and tools.
This is a hybrid position requiring presence on-site at one of our Dawn Foods distribution centers for a minimum of 3 days per week, with travel expected up to 50% of the time.
**What You'll Do as a Process Improvement Leader at Dawn Foods?**
- Develop, manage, and facilitate the process improvement initiatives and strategy for the process role.
- Lead cross-functional team that will develop game-changing processes and technologies across the enterprise.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost gain initiatives, maintaining a strong focus on execution and delivery of short-term results while moving towards the long-term vision while working with the team and supporting the staff.
- Develop programs & project metrics and communicate status as appropriate to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Ownership of large complex technology projects & programs with significant impact to the business while delivering on schedule, within budget, and ensure cost savings are met.
- Lead training and education to the Supply Chain and Distribution teams on tools for process evolution and enhancement.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training and development programs by utilizing blended learning methods (instructor-led, e-learning, videos, written resources).
- Monitor, track, and report key fleet and warehouse operational efficiency metrics to identify key levels and opportunities for equipment and process improvements.
- Develop complex strategies to resolve frequent and infrequent issues within the Distribution Centers.
- Lead the development of the corrective actions and problem solving for issues related to fleet and warehouse operational efficiency.
- Track and report evolution of the implemented corrective and preventive actions against trends to assess effectiveness.
- Lead the standardization and documentation of processes and protocols to ensure consistency and scalability across the Distribution Services and Supply Chain organization.
- Provide sound recommendations for long-term improvement of processes by remaining up to date with Best Practices, evolving supply chain trends, and technology advancements.
- Lead investigations of negative trends and, in alignment with teams and leaders, facilitate the implementation process.
- Collaborate with other inter/intra departmental resources to coordinate plans as it relates to outages/engineering changes.
- Work with Quality to identify key equipment, packaging gaps, and opportunities.
- Assist with traceability gaps, audit readiness, and identifying process improvements.
- Works with Quality to support new product and process launches throughout department.
- Perform and compile analytical reports to support changes needed within department.
- Directly interface with engineers to design, develop, implement projects.
- Lead certification efforts for Best Practices.
- Manage daily tactical issues when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience in Operations, Supply Chain etc. with 2 of those 5 years owning continuous improvement initiatives or 9 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree with 5 years of more of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, etc. and 2 of those 5 years owning continuous improvement initiatives.
