.**Descripción y detalle de las actividades**- Lead, coordinate, and troubleshoot all aspects related to the molding of rubber Golf Grips. Responsible for coordinating the molding efforts on new program launches, setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes while assisting the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous process improvements. Responsible for working closely with engineers and production associates to develop, document, implement, and evaluate all rubber injection molding processes. Perform mold qualification trials on new and existing molds. Develop optimum and repeatable manufacturing process conditions and parameters using a scientific approach to optimize molding process. Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes, improve yield and throughput, drive cost reduction activities and improve on part quality. Provide daily production support to the molding operation which includes troubleshooting molding process due to molded part defects. Collect and analyze technical process/product data and consolidate it for logical presentations to team and management for evaluation. Oversee & evaluate necessary changes to the mold preventive maintenance system. Work with maintenance/facilities and vendors on the installation, repair, and maintenance of production molding equipment. Contribute to design and process changes in support of continuous improvement. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel. Start-up, operate and shut down process related equipment. Work independently on new process development as well as troubleshooting current production issues. Monitor and report issues with injection molds, make recommendations for refurbishment based on production factors such as cycles, process capability and tooling history. Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts. Work with Grip R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Manufacturing Departments during concept, prototyping, and release of new products.**Experiência y requisitos**- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Mechanical Engineering preferred. -Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a rubber molding manufacturing environment is required.
