A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.**About the role**:**Key responsibilities**:- Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide timely solutions to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.- Improve upstream and downstream process efficiency by using six sigma tools.- Report feedback and generate monthly and annual yield reports for fermentation, liquids and powders.- Liaise with site functions - supply chain, planning, food safety, QC, Operations and Regulatory Affairs to support the process transfer to Tlalnepantla site.- Lead major process investigations to determine root cause and support the implementation of CAPAs.- Provide technical training on process and technology areas as required by the project.- Lead the optimization for various parameters in upstream and downstream processes such as media and feed strategies, cell culture scale-up and primary recovery processes.- Evaluate and optimize processes to enhance yield, productivity and product quality.- Interact with external, vendors, and partners and assist in technology transfer.- Presents experimental results/ new projects at department meetings.- Take lead on HACCP and biosafety review meetings.**Qualifications and skills**:- Minimum of a B.Sc., B.E. or M.Sc./M.Eng. Degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Process Engineering or equivalent; equivalent defined as aBiotechnology or Industrial Chemistry Degree with a large element of biotechnology in the curriculum.- Minimum 5 to 10 yrs. of work experience in Biotechnology/ Food /Pharma industries in process development or process engineering.- Significant expertise with Microbial Fermentation (Yeast, Bacterial and Fungal)- Lean Six Sigma certification would be an advantage.- Interpersonal and facilitation skills necessary to interface with and influence all levels of the organisation with the ability to lead people and multi-disciplinary teams.- Strong verbal and writing communication skills to provide project updates and recommendations through issuing presentations and technical reports.- Proven problem-solving ability, project management skills, including leading cross functional teams and balancing multiple project assignments.- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practise) work experience is preferred.- Advance level of English, able to present reports and keep a professional conversation, as multiple meetings will be held in the language.
