The Procurement Planner is a member of the procurement team with functional responsibility for materials management/flow focusing on tactical procurement and inventory control.Education:Degree5 years experienceEnglish 90%MS OfficeFunctions:Coordinates activities to meet or exceed on-time delivery commitments including inventory transfers items within the organization.Escalates and supervises supply chain delivery issues for affected items within the organization and leads weekly shortage TWA (Three Weeks Analysis).Elaborates/follows up problem-solving analysis when issues happen to critical items within the organization.Supervises day-to-day Material Planner performance and provides constructive feedback.Determines annual inventory goals, shares information across business units, and works with procurement management to meet goals.Coordinates within supplier organization to improve delivery of raw material.Monitors premium freight charges, PPV, expedite fees, and bill-back negotiation with Suppliers.Documents and controls excess and obsolescence material (E&O Claims, Liability) and follows up responsibilities.Coordinates support to internal customers, ensuring maximum participation and collaboration.Monitors ECN final "sign off" changes and availability with engineering to avoid obsolescence.Supports the NPI coordinator on common raw material required for new projects.Coordinates and manages subordinates' workload and responsibilities to ensure progress on deadlines.Ensures that project policies, procedures, and all other company guidelines are strictly adhered to in the procurement department activities.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Starting at $28,000.00 per monthBenefits:Major medical expenses insuranceEducation:Completed Bachelor's degree (Desirable)Experience:As a Procurement Planner: 3 years (Mandatory)Language:Conversational English (Mandatory)Work Location: On-site employment#J-18808-Ljbffr
