approved, preferred, and strategic)- Drive Direct Procurement process and policy compliance.- Identify Total Cost Optimization for Direct Material- Build robust category funnel that is minimum 2x annual savings target.- Identify best level strategic sourcing and negotiations to implement short and long term strategies.- Execute Index agreements and track cost impact on monthly basisWhat we are looking for:- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or other relevant field required (other combination of experience and certification may be considered).- Needs 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience.- Strong knowledge on plastics commodity- Preferred 4+ years in a Direct Procurement function at a global organization with complex, global contracts.- Preferred 4+ years prior experience in sourcing and negotiating direct goods and services.- Has a proven track record of delivering large savings and other value as an individual contributor or team lead; demonstrates in-depth understanding of best-in-class procurement practices- Able to plan, set priorities, organize, and coordinate work with and through others.- Demonstrates leadership capabilities in a global environment with internal customers and suppliers.- Embraces KION Leadership Competencies for Professionals and/or Managers with regard to taking responsibility, welcoming change, fostering communication, understanding our business/customers, delivering solutions, and driving results.- Prior experience in using bench marketing and cost analysis tools to deliver negotiation outcomes.- Experience in or willingness to work in a complex and highly matrixed organizational structure.- Exhibiting business partnership competencies to drive success by understanding people, teams, and culture.- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legal requirements.- Able to understand standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk.- Able to travel 30% plusTasks and Qualifications:Company Overview:Dematic is a leading supplier of integrated automated technology, software and services to optimize the supply chain
