Job description**Requirements**:- Engineeringdegree in Industrial, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or related field- Successful Product management experience is required- 3-5+ years of experience within automotive industry is a must- Design Techniques DOE management.- Planning, forecasting and budgeting management.- Manufacturing processes and associated technologies, feasibility studies,- Quality standards and regulations (ISO) knowledge.- Continuous improvement techniques.- Fluent in English- Time availability- Travel availability**Main responsibilities**:- Contributes to the development of R&D and Innovation strategy, policies and procedures.
Sets up and Implements product design policies, procedures and rules.- Ensures the proper implementation of the product design process within the Region.- Conducts product design technical feasibility studies by defining special characteristics and evaluating product development needs including machines, equipment and tools.- Conducts product design financial feasibility studies by defining design costs including bill of materials, routing and investments.- Monitors product design documentation by maintaining items codification instructions UpToDate according to customer requirements, policies and procedures.- Assigns items codification for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods according to pre-defined codification instructions.- Builds strong relationship with customers to develop best product design catalogues and explain product technical specifications.- Foresees and manages technological risks and promotes risk management, project management, and project execution.- Builds market intelligence capabilities to track regulations, new markets, competitor's product design strategies and specifications, customers, suppliers and technologies.- Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.- Prepares, communicates and reviews R&D KPI's related to feasibility study and defines accordingly R&D continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures and systems to meet the R&D and Innovation Department and the Company's objectives.- Develops appropriate organizational structure, resources plan and culture to support the business objectives and customer deliverables.- Manages team performance firmly and fairly by providing continuous constrictive feedback, overseeing attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues, and procedures as appropriate.- Complies with EHS Standards, protocols, and regulations.
