Part time Product Development SpecialistSeeking flexible, part-time (20-30 hours per week) talent with product development experience, ideally in human or pet food consumer packaged goods and ideally with experience in a plant/food manufacturing facility.This position will be within Mexican R&D Team of the customer and will play an important role in supporting their R&D activities in their plant in Irapuato, Mexico, while customer core team is located in the United States. At the conclusion of this first assignment, talent will be offered additional part-time, flexible assignments as they are available. Hours will be flexible from week to week, and will not exceed 1300 hours annually.Job Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility will be to participate in industrial trials and other activities that require on-site R&D presence, enabling customer US-based team to work more efficiently and reduce the need for frequent travel.Your responsibilities include the following:- Industrial Trials Support: Collaborate with our US-based R&D team to plan, execute, and analyze industrial trials and experiments in our plant.- On-site R&D Assistance: Provide on-site technical expertise and support for research and development activities, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring a smooth execution of experiments and trials.- Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect and record experimental data, and contribute to data analysis and reporting to help inform decision-making and drive product development improvements.- Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration between the plant team and the US-based team, ensuring that knowledge and findings are shared to optimize development efforts.- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.Standard Education and Experience Levels:- 2-Year Degree or High School Degree w/7+ years of directly relatable experience- Basic computer/technology skills (Office Suite, other computer programs)- Comfortable in processing (pilot plant or plant) environment; comfortable operating equipment- Basic understanding of food safety and human safety- Fluent in both Spanish and EnglishOther desired required skill-sets or qualifications:- Proven ability to deliver executional excellence- Ability to be flexible and adapt to multiple situations- Demonstrated ability to assist technically driven projects; strong technical aptitude- Strong self-starter and holds a high regard for quality of work; - Ability to collaboratein a cross-functional and external environment- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment; desire to learn new concepts quickly- Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to a team environment- Interest in an on-going part-time flexible position
