Product Engineer

**RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Provide engineering support for EPS & WNC products used and sold into the Aerospace and Military markets.
- Support specific development activities as part of a larger development project, organizing experiments, trials, testing, and collating data.
- Support VAVE activities collaborating in brainstorm sessions, innovative solutions, organizing experiments, trials, testing, and collating data.
- Suggest design changes of new products to reduce costs and overall manufacturing efficiency
- Provide support for product and materials obsolescence and product migration.
- Lead continuous improvement activities for product streamlining.
- Work closely with Lead Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers and Operations to successfully deliver new development projects into operations.
- Run product development trials of New Product Development projects while fully integrating with the LEANPD process and PLM Central, ensuring that work is scheduled to meet pre-determined targets.
- Support key data collection for DFMEA, PFMEA, and Qualification data.
- Write Product Specifications, Quality Test Plans and Test Reports, and update existing product specifications when required.
- Transfer Programs to Mexico Manufacturing facilities

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- B.S. degree on Industrial Engineering. M.S. degree is desirable.
- Experience in providing detailed documentation and translating into concise technical reports.
- Ability to understand and work out complex technical solutions
- Ability to communicate and listen cross-functional teams to accelerate the product development and VAVE projects
- Experience with product development from concept to industrialization preferred (VOC, DOE, FMEA, FEA).
- Advanced English
