4+ years of product management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
- Bachelor Degree or certificate of completion of studies required and at least 5+ years of professional background.
- Advanced level in both English and Spanish.
Product management and development, working together with technical and non-technical teams to improve operations and customer experience.
Project management, including creating business justifications and functional requirements for product and site features.
Strong data analysis experience, extracting insights that drive business decisions.
Business management, including creating business strategy and managing program metrics.
Automating and improving systems to streamline operations within Amazon internal stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
You are responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of one or more features related to an existing product.
You may be embedded within a single team, focused on the vision for their product features or you may work across teams.
You know how to delight customers. Your work impacts a product's customer experience (CX), feature usability, success metrics (e.g., customer delight, adoption, sales, ROI), team goals, and may impact organization-level goals.
You work independently, seeking direction when needed.
You follow Amazon product development best practices and work backwards.
You are the Voice of the Customer and articulate their needs. You participate in in-person customer research and user studies.
You make use of market research and perform experiments.
You identify interesting use cases and clarify how they differ from existing solutions.
You are data-driven and understand the risk of action based on a vocal minority.
You understand a broad range of analytics techniques and know when to use them.
You provide stakeholders with insights into market opportunities.
You make sure the right people are part of the conversation.
You work with designers to mock-up and prototype (when appropriate) features to ensure we deliver the right solution.
Your plans include where features need to be compliant (e.g., legal, financial and other regulations, data privacy/security), localized (e.g., language, regional requirements), and accessible (e.g., consider people with disabilities).
You make sure usability studies include diverse customer sets and perspectives.
You drive constructive discussions that help customers, design, development, compliance, and sales teams reach consensus.
