.**Your Job**As a Production Control Specialist you are in charge of the creation of a daily or weekly production schedule that ensures that customer demand is met by requested deadlines (CRD/MPD). This includes the analysis of raw material needed to support the schedule as well as engagement in the revision of manpower & equipment available Vs needed to support the requested deadlines. Active participation on strategies that better fit in accordance with the business and customer demand behavior.**Our Team**We are looking for a passionate Production Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Guadalajara. You'll play a pivotal role within our Opto-Molex Guadalajara cleaning room environment, ensuring the wheels of production turn smoothly and efficiently.**What You Will Do**- Create daily/weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and deadlines- Analyze raw material requirements and ensure manpower & equipment availability- Strategize material movements to minimize inventory risks- Schedule operations to minimize delays and achieve key planning operation metrics- Lead plan attainment for high operational performance- Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams for transaction control- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and technology adoption in material handling areas- Mitigate production interruptions by escalating concerns to appropriate teams- Document processes in the Quality Management System- Actively support EHS, Quality, and Lean programs- Communicate effectively with Customer Service Representatives regarding inquiries- Administer Work Orders, including control of variations and timely closure- Identify risk materials in WIP and collaborate with production supervisors for resolution- Implement high-performance team systems and practices**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**- Bachelor's or Engineering degree required- Previous experience on a similar role within a manufacturing environment- EPR and MRP understanding- Expertise in Kaizen and continuous process improvement- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high-level Excel skills- Excellent communication skills in English- Strong critical thinking, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities- Preferred experience in back-end assemblies and planning**What Will Put You Ahead**- Contribution Motivated**Who We Are**As a Koch company, Molex is a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect components, d riving innovation in electronics and supporting industries from automotive to health care and consumer to data communications.
