**JOB DESCRIPTION**:The Production Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the resources and the production operations area, in all assigned work shifts, adjusting to the respective certificates, quality standards and operating costs. He monitors the efficiency of direct and indirect work, helps prepare manufacturing programs and coordinates the solution of production problems with support areas.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Accomplish with previously reviewed production schedules.- Meet yield goals and final quality results.- Obtain results that comply with previously established tolerances.- Monitor the correct use of materials, and maintain safety standards- Supervise staff, to have a highly motivated and engaged workforce.- Ensure the physical integrity of human resources.- Keep within budget all costs originated by the department.- Keep work areas in excellent condition, clean and orderly.- Keep searching for a better way of doing things.- Have a future program of new products, new challenges or changes.- Prepare results reports in your area, with the necessary quality.- Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the Environmental Management System.- Ensure that the responsibility and Authority in relation to the EMS are carried out.- Participate in drills and follow Emergency Response procedures in the event of a contingency.- Contribute to compliance with the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).- Provide feedback on changes in Legislation identified in the practice of their daily activities, regarding Health, Environment and Occupational Medicine.- When determining the Training Needs of the personnel, consider what is pertinent in Environmental, Industrial Safety and Health issues.- Comply and ensure that their subordinates comply with the applicable environmental legal requirements in their area, ethical responsibility, work safety, the company's internal work regulations, and any other law applicable to its operation.
