- **Summary**_
The Production Manager is a key player in the manufacturing processes and is responsible for overseeing the entire production process from order receipt to delivery. Responsible for managing the production team ensuring that primary, secondary, and inspection/packaging operations meet customer delivery schedules and expectations with minimum costs and highest quality. The Production Manager will work closely with the General Manager to plan production and organize production personnel schedules, ensure production quality and safety, manage inventory levels, and meet production deadlines and collaborate closely with other departments, such as manufacturing (and equipment maintenance), engineering, and supply chain management to ensure efficient and effective production.
- **Key Duties and Responsibilities**_
- Oversee the production processes and shift-to-shift performance
- Develop and implement plans to meet production goals and deadlines
- Manage a team (including Quality Manager, Shipping/Receiving Manager, and Process Engineering) and the production workforce
- Schedule and coordinate production activities to ensure maximum efficiency
- Identify and resolve production-related problems promptly
- Ensure the quality of the end product meets customer expectations
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of production data and costs
- Prioritize critical tasks
- Be a team builder and continual improvement driver
- Use KPIs to manage performance
- Be a results/customer-oriented player
- **Qualifications**_
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Advanced English
- At least 15-20 years of experience in Production Management, with experience in the precision machined metals industry preferred
- Lean and/or Six Sigma experience and process thinker
- Hands-on leader from daily start of production to monthly/quarterly pre-production and production delivery
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
