Production Manager

Responsibilities:The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the production facility, in addition to ensuring the successful implementation of projects into production and promoting continuous improvement in the operations through the life-cycle of the programs, ultimately meeting the production objectives of the business unit.Requirements:Four-year degree in a technical field8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in the automotive and/or electronics component industries, including experience encompassing a majority of the following fields – operational finance, manufacturing planning, engineering, quality, sales & purchasingExperience managing personnel2+ years of supervisory and/or managerial experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)Knowledge of technical facets of products in addition to flow of products and related materialsFamiliarity with financial reporting statementsTS16949 awareness trainingKnowledge of 5S and/or Six Sigma problem-solving methodologyStrong knowledge and ability in methods of communication, motivation, negotiation, and conflict management skills with a high level of initiative/driveAdditional education and/or formal training in project management and finance (Preferred)Familiarity with plant operations, including automation and complex assembly (Preferred)English and Spanish language competency – both oral and written#J-18808-Ljbffr
