We are looking for a Production Planner to join our Juarez, Bermudez Team.
How You'll Help us Connect the World Duties and Responsibilities: Create a production plan according to the demand, capacity and material availability.Confirm the new sales orders based on customer request date or line capacity. Communicate any changes to all the departments involved. Coordinate with the purchasing department to expedite material shortages.Check that the sales that are committed for today are already covered; if not, review the reason and communicate to CSR if there is a need to reschedule the sale.Identify new sales orders and generate the production plan to cover them, checking the material availability and working with purchasing to expedite components if needed.Release production orders according to the material availability, capacity and sales/demand.Check exception messages.Communicate with PLM, OPS managers and customer service any impacts affecting committed orders.Respond to expedites/escalations for customer service and other plants.Use the installed capacity as much as possible if there is sufficient load and communicate to the business when the load is insufficient.Keep the business metrics in required goals. Required Qualifications for Consideration: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in similar position.SAP Knowledge.English 80% (written and spoken).Experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point.Skillset: Proven ability to effectively interact and influence personnel of various levels and disciplines.Proactive person.Time management.Negotiating abilities.Collaboration.Capability to work under pressure.Why CommScope:
