We provide a collaborative, inclusive and flexible work environment along with competitive compensation and comprehensive wellness & benefits programs.- Support to the Master Scheduler in place the Daily production Program, providing details for the different working Cells in order to ensure that all company goals are achieved by developing effective schedules._- Support Productions Cells on providing quick response for productions problems addressing materials effectively to maintain effective day and weekly schedules_- Production planner track shipments and implement production schedules, works to labor and materials shortages, backlog and potential schedule interruption as well as loading and capacity requirements such assemblies and finished good products into workcell. Use different tools such: Oracle, Discover, Microsoft office tools and Lean techniques._- _Generate and maintain Production Schedules on weekly basis for each Productive Cells _- _Anticipate a month ahead potential shortages and address them_- _ Set the priorities on items assigned to be shipped on a weekly basis_- _ Produce and process schedules and reports when is required by Internal and External customers _- _Follow up and commitment for customer orders or customer service expedite (Open order report)_- _ Generate the weekly shipment backlog to shipping department_- _ Assess risks within the schedule and communicate appropriately_- _ Maintain accuracy in the scheduling process_- _ Ensure to achieve Monthly production goal_Skills/ Knowledge / Experience- _ Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering_- _ Fully bilingual speaking, writing and reading_- _ At least 2 years of work experience as Production Planner _- _ERP planning experience (desirable Oracle) as well as Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles._- _ Kanban management and knowledge_- _ Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fullfil the role's responsibilities)_- _ Computer proficiency in MS Office tools._- _ Leadership skills, to lead the business through a schedule_- _ Knowledge of manufacturing processes_- _ Strong analytical capabilities, negotiation and problem resolution skills_**About Edwards**Edwards has over 4,000 employees worldwide engaged in the design, manufacture and support of high technology vacuum and exhaust management equipment.
