.***Production Supervisor will be responsible for the overall safety, quality, service, cost productivity, and employee morale of assigned department. The Production Supervisor serves as a liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process and engineering related issues. Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, assemblers, fabricators, machine, tool setters, test and other plant and system operators. A successful Supervisor can anticipate and adapt to change and make the required adjustments to schedules.A successful Supervisor promotes two-way communication, fosters organization culture and values, assess operators' performance and develop them, and seeks for continues improvement in his/hers work area.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Enforce Safety and Environmental regulations.- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as assembly, inspectors, machines and fabricators.- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Maintain capacity plans to meet or changes as required.- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.- Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.- Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers.- Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.- Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. In partnership with Management develop solutions, programs and procedures.- Communicate daily the customer's order status and corrective actions required to maintain schedule and quality. Prepare action plans to recover production or past dues.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering.- At minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering. Experience in Industrial, Automotive, Automotive, Aerospace, Metal fabrication or similar industries.- MS Office (Word, Excel)- Knowledge of MRP/ERP system.- Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.- Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
